Fakes on Ebay

For those of you who shop online and enjoy Ebay you will want to note that a good 75% of True Religion and 7 For All Mankind Jeans are knock offs and fakes from Hong Kong. 95% of Primp sweats and a good portion of Juicy Couture fall into that category as well.
BEWARE!
Rules to follow are never to buy from a dealer who ships out of Asia and who has private feedback (eg:you can't read it!)
For your big denim purchases stick with VIP Fashions and Daily Denim which are two Ebay stores with excellent feed back and authentic merchandise.
The big give away on fakes is the outer label. For some reason the counterfieters always sew the labels on atrociously-even when the rest of the jeans are perfect fakes. And most fakes run small..a 30 will fit like a 28 etc.

    Exactly!!
And our very own Jeans On tribe member Aneehas runs Daily Denim btw. I've bought absolutely beautiful, 100% authentic jeans from her store!

Ebay actually just pulled down a bunch of listings from a Hong Kong seller because True Religion themselves threatned to sue for copyright infringement. The pirates are crazy...who wants to pay 30.00 for shipping AND buy a fake?

It's so bad!! Do NOT buy from anyone shipping from HongKong or South Korea AND BEWARE of dealers with cheap True Religion jeans in this country or the UK. They just bought from pirate jean producers in bulk and then opened up shop....
The best way on Ebay is either Daily Denim, VIP Fashions or anyone who is selling a single pair-just double check their purchase history to make sure it was not a recent 'bargain' from Asia.

In hopes of getting a bargain, I just experienced my first annoyance with trying to buy True Religion on eBay. I won an auction and paid immediately, then the next day, I got a message from eBay's "veRO" program, saying they urge me to not complete the transaction and that the listing has been removed due to conflict of "intellectual property rights". Too late! I panicked and started shooting off messages to the seller, PayPal, and eBay...calling Paypal and my credit card. Luckily, the seller seems to be compliant and I think the process has been put on hold. The seller insisted that the jeans were authentic, but True Religion is simply trying ensure that people buy from their stores or legit retailers.

What a hassle. I guess I'm just going to have to shell out the dough for these jeans! Now I'm even more uncomfortable buying on eBay.

The jaens were definitely kfakes!! Only buy from Daily Denim, AJM Fashions or VIP Fashions and yes if it's really cheap it's a fake!! Sometimes you can score a bargain but expect to pay at least 125.00 to 200.00 for authentic TR jeans which is still an amazing savings! 85% of Primp, Citizens, Sevens and Rock Republic on Ebay are fake.
