I'm new to this tribe and noticed no one's posted in a long time. Just checking. And just wanted to share that I got a pair of True Religion Jeans, bought them online. I can really see and feel why they are so popular. Alas, I think I got them a size too big. When I tried a 28 on in the store, they just seemed too tight, and thought I better not get them cuz they'll shrink and then what? Now the 29s I have are so loose as I wear them. I don't think I'll ever learn. I hope they will shrink if I dry them on high.

I'm not sure where you bought your TR jeans but they really fit differently depending on whether or not they are rigid (100% cotton) or blending with stretch. The strech blends seem to work on those who have hips as the pockets fall beter in the back. The rigid look great on most but runs small and should ideally be tried on in person. Let me know your body tybe, firt preference and I'll get back to you. As a 5'9, size 9/10, 28 inch waist 38.5 inch hips, TR fit me the best of all the jeans out there. -

Thu, May 4, 2006 - 11:36 AMOh no problem, Amanda. Thanks for the reply. I've been wearing the 29s with stretch and they have shrunk a little, but as I keep wearing them, they do loosen up. I wear a belt because if I wanted to, I could pull them right off without unbuttoning or unzipping! It shouldn't be like that, right? Too big? I'm used to them, but I may try 28s next time. I'm 5'2", 26" high waist and 37" hip.
