Yes, those bermuda jeans shorts will work and are going to be hot again next summer. Let's face it, they don't cut you off mid-calf and you can really show off athletic legs with them.
Since i last updated, at least four national magazines have done giant articles on finding the perfect jeans, Victoria Beckham's test sketches for Rock n Republic were stolen and Havana Level C Crystal jeans, 7 for All Mankind, priced at $995 were featured in the September 2005 issue of In Style, ushering in luxe denim for the mainstream..yeah right!
Frankie B, Notify and Antik are now major names and the next big denim lines, though one hopes they do not get as over exposed as &'s, Citizens and Blue Cult.
True Religion is as popular as ever and added the SAMMY cut with its very flattering slash pockets to it's line up. Ornate embroidery in the form of Godiva on a white Booby jean, a Tibet kama sutra duo and a very groovy 60's Biba girl can be found on the backs of True Religion jeans this season. No word on what cords are due though many colors are still available from last season. The AShbury Destroyed Jean has been added to the limited edition..mushrooms, suns, houses, ets round out these pricest of True Religions at over 400.00
They are cute but in all honesty the sizes running over 29 are given duller colors than the smaller sizes which is a big bummer (TheWoodstock had this issue too) I have taken y Woodstock destroyed and I'm now in the process of turning them into Ashbury destroyed.
A word on fakes..DO NOT BUY True Religion, 7 For All Mankind, Rock Republic or Citizens on Ebay ( some Abercrombie styles too). Pirates are getting REALLY good at picking out which rare cuts from the past few years people want and the honing in and selling fake versions. A few stores like VIP Fashions , Daily Denim and BeCharmed get real merchandise but they are few and far between. Be careful!

Thu, September 15, 2005 - 11:10 PMSalt works,Indigo Hand,Citizens, Paige, Edun and Notify are all making beautiful jeans you can wear to work with no fussy embellishments.
people for peace is leading the way in creating the best of all the embellished and embroidered styles as they are using an old authentic method from the hippie era.
There are knock offs of all the cute jeans too from Antik to Ed Hardy to People for peace to chip and pepper to true religion on www.delias.com and www.alloy.com These are not to be confused with fakes. These jeans are not as a high of quality but will at least be as cute. -
